We use the information we collect solely for the purpose of providing and supporting our repair services. Specifically, we use your information to:

  • Create and manage work orders for your equipment
  • Send transactional SMS text messages regarding your repair, including estimate approvals, repair status updates, parts notifications, completion alerts, and payment receipts
  • Process payments for services rendered
  • Maintain records of your equipment and service history
  • Communicate with you about your repair orders

SMS Text Messaging

If you consent to receive text messages during the equipment intake process at our shop, we will use your mobile phone number to send transactional messages related to your repair order. These messages may include estimate approvals, repair status updates, parts arrival notifications, completion alerts, and payment receipts.

  • Consent: Consent to receive text messages is obtained individually and in person at our shop during the equipment intake process. A staff member asks the customer directly if they would like to receive text message updates, or, if the customer uses our self check-in process, they provide consent by selecting a checkbox indicating they agree to receive SMS updates regarding their repair. Providing consent is entirely voluntary and is not a condition of service.
  • Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on the status of your repair. Typically, you will receive between 1 and 10 messages per repair order.
  • Opt-Out: You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and no further texts will be sent.
  • Message and Data Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
  • Help: Reply HELP to any message for support, or contact us directly at our shop.

Information Sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Your information is only shared with trusted service providers as strictly necessary to operate our business, including:

  • Stripe — for secure payment processing
  • Twilio — for delivery of SMS text messages

These providers are contractually obligated to use your information only to perform services on our behalf and to protect your data.

Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Payment information is processed securely through Stripe and is never stored on our systems.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and maintain accurate service records for your equipment. If you would like your information removed from our systems, please contact us directly.
